    About the Opportunity
    A well-established engineering and technical services organization is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Division Manager to lead a growing team focused on industrial and infrastructure-related projects. This leadership role combines technical oversight, management, project execution, and client engagement. This role will involve about 60% engineering, 20% management, and 20% client facing activities.

    The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in electrical engineering design, team leadership, quality assurance, and project delivery within complex industrial environments.     Key Responsibilities

    Leadership & Operations
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electrical engineers, designers, and CAD professionals.
    • Establish and maintain engineering standards, quality processes, and best practices.
    • Manage departmental resources, staffing plans, training initiatives, and operational performance.
    • Conduct employee performance reviews and support career development efforts.
    • Foster collaboration across engineering disciplines and project teams.

    Project Delivery
    • Partner with project managers to ensure appropriate staffing and technical support for projects.

    Engineering & Technical Oversight

    • Oversee preparation of construction documents and design packages.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support successful project execution.
    • Provide quality control reviews of engineering deliverables.

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or will be siting for the PE soon.
    • 15+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial or process-oriented environments.
    • 5+ years leading engineering teams and complex design projects.
    • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and technical resources.
    • Strong communication and client relationship skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to mentor technical staff and lead high-performing teams.

    Technical Experience
    Candidates should possess significant experience in several of the following areas:
    • Electrical power distribution and facility power systems.
    • Preparation and review of electrical construction documents.
    • Switchgear, motor control centers, generators, variable frequency drives, and related equipment.
    • Industrial manufacturing, process facilities, utilities, energy, life sciences, food production, or similar environments.
    • Hazardous location design and applicable electrical codes.
    • Electrical system studies, equipment specification, and design review.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Assume ownership of construction projects from mobilization through completion.
    • Coordinate and manage all on-site construction activities, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
    • Ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
    • Enforce all applicable safety standards, site requirements, and company policies.

    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably supporting industrial construction projects.
    • Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors and coordinating field construction activities.
    • Experience communicating with owners, owner’s representatives, contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders.
    • Familiarity with construction documentation, including contracts, subcontracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and invoices.
    • Ability to travel extensively to project sites throughout the United States.
    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience supporting ERP platforms and business processes within Finance and Operations environments.
    • Working knowledge of ERP financials including: AR, AP, O2C, P2P, Payroll, Project Accounting, etc..
    • Experience gathering requirements and creating artifacts including: User Stories, Process Maps, Requirements Docs, Workflow Diagrams, etc..
    • Experience supporting testing, training, deployment, and user adoption activities.
    • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • ERP implementation, migration, or transformation project experience.
    • Experience supporting organizations within construction, industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or field services environments.
    • Experience with enterprise ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, IFS, Infor, JD Edwards, Epicor, or similar systems.
    • Agile/Scrum experience.
    • Familiarity with reporting, analytics, or database concepts.
    • PMP, Scrum Master, CBAP, or related certifications.
