Senior Manager of Program Management

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Program Management to lead complex product development initiatives and drive successful execution across cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for transforming strategic objectives into structured, measurable programs while ensuring alignment between engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a strong program leader with experience managing large-scale product initiatives involving hardware, software, and service-based solutions. You will play a key role in establishing processes, driving accountability, mitigating risks, and ensuring successful delivery from concept through launch and beyond.
What You’ll Do
Program Leadership
- Lead complex product and business initiatives from planning through execution and launch.
- Create program structures, timelines, milestones, and governance models that support successful delivery.
- Manage multiple concurrent programs while balancing competing priorities and business needs.
- Drive accountability and execution across cross-functional teams.
New Product Introduction (NPI)
- Oversee the end-to-end product introduction lifecycle, from concept and planning through market launch and post-launch support.
- Coordinate activities across engineering, product, operations, supply chain, and business teams.
- Ensure product readiness, alignment, and successful deployment.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with technical leaders, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Facilitate collaboration across organizations with diverse priorities and objectives.
- Identify and resolve conflicts while maintaining focus on program goals.
- Communicate status, risks, decisions, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Develop and refine program management processes and best practices.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, visibility, and execution quality.
- Establish measurable objectives and key results (OKRs) and track progress through dashboards and reporting.
- Drive data-informed decision-making across programs.
Risk & Resource Management
- Identify program risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks early.
- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Support resource planning and prioritization efforts.
- Ensure projects remain aligned with business objectives, budgets, and delivery commitments.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of program management experience within engineering, product development, or technical organizations.
- Proven track record leading large-scale, cross-functional programs from concept through delivery.
- Experience managing products that combine hardware, software, and service components.
- Strong knowledge of program management methodologies and organizational change practices.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or another technical discipline.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex engineering challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Experience working within B2B product organizations.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
- Experience establishing and managing OKR frameworks.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
- Experience leading globally distributed teams and external partners.
