We are in search of a highly motivated and and client-focused Tax Manager (with an active CPA) to join a highly reputable, family-owned private wealth management firm. This is a dedicated accounting role focused exclusively on tax preparation and strategy — not a stepping stone to a financial advisor position. You will work directly with successful families on complex tax returns and collaborate closely with a highly respected advisory and planning team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file individual, trust, and estate tax returns for high-net-worth clients.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for tax-related matters across assigned client relationships.
• Communicate directly with clients to explain filings, answer questions, and assist with tax planning.
• Collaborate with advisors and planners to ensure tax strategies align with estate and financial plans.
• Stay up-to-date on tax law changes and proactively evaluate their implications for clients.
• Ensure timely and compliant filing of all returns, extensions, and estimated payments.
• Use CCH Axcess tax software for return preparation and recordkeeping.
• Participate in team initiatives to enhance process efficiency and client experience.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license (required).
• 2–5+ years of experience in public accounting, tax preparation, or private client services.
• Proficiency in preparing complex individual and fiduciary tax returns.
• Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in working directly with high-net-worth clients.
• Experience with CCH Axcess (or similar platforms) is a plus.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and deadline-management skills.
