Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) Analyst to join our dynamic team in Chattanooga, TN. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in software development and testing, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring software quality. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing automated test frameworks and strategies to enhance our software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure high-quality software releases.
– Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
– Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects to ensure timely resolution.
– Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
– Continuously improve test automation processes, tools, and methodologies.
– Ensure that all automated testing activities comply with industry standards and best practices.
– Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on test automation tools and practices.

Required Skills:
– Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
– Experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
– Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
– Hands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
– Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
– Familiarity with BDD/TDD practices and tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
– Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
– Experience with mobile testing frameworks.
– Relevant certifications in software testing or development.
