About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a strategic, highly collaborative technology leader to join a global organization as the Director, Global Technology Services.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a proven IT leader who is ready to take on broader executive-level responsibility. The ideal candidate may currently be operating as a Director or Senior Director and should have progressively expanded their leadership scope, global experience, and operational ownership throughout their career.
This leader will take ownership of a broad global Technology Services organization and serve as a trusted strategic partner and extension of the CIO.
What YouÂ’ll Lead
You will oversee a global technology services environment spanning:
- Infrastructure Operations
- Service Desk and Deskside Support
- End-User Computing and Digital Workplace
- IT Service Management
- IT Asset Management
- IT Procurement and Vendor Coordination
The role will lead a globally distributed organization with approximately 30 team members and seven direct reports across the United States, United Kingdom, and India.
What YouÂ’ll Do
- Lead and develop global Technology Services teams while building a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.
- Establish and improve service delivery standards, SLAs, KPIs, operational dashboards, and continuous improvement practices.
- Drive initiatives focused on infrastructure modernization, cloud enablement, automation, AI-enabled IT operations, and digital workplace improvements.
- Improve the end-user experience through modern support models, proactive service management, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with the CIO and business leadership to align technology services with organizational priorities and business needs.
- Strengthen collaboration and alignment across global IT teams, regions, and stakeholders.
- Manage relationships with infrastructure vendors, managed service providers, and technology partners.
- Oversee operational budgets, IT asset lifecycle management, procurement processes, and cost optimization.
- Identify opportunities to improve technology performance, service quality, scalability, and operational maturity.
- Bring strong ownership and execution discipline to a lean, globally distributed organization.
What WeÂ’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a global technology services leader who combines strategic thinking with strong operational execution.
You should bring:
- 12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
- Experience leading global or geographically distributed technology services or IT operations teams.
- Broad experience across areas such as infrastructure, service desk, end-user computing, ITSM, asset management, and vendor management.
- A demonstrated track record of operational transformation and measurable service improvement.
- Experience developing and managing global teams and leaders.
- Strong experience with service delivery metrics, KPIs, SLAs, governance, and continuous improvement.
- Experience leading or influencing modernization initiatives involving cloud, automation, AI-enabled operations, or digital workplace technologies.
- Experience managing complex vendor relationships and operational budgets.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and business partnership skills.
