Job Description:
We are seeking a Procurement & Vendor Management Specialist to support Sourcing & Procurement in executing vendor management processes and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements. This role requires strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to engage with suppliers, business stakeholders, and procurement peers. The ideal candidate will be process-oriented, results-driven, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders for procurement-related activities.
- Review and process purchase requisitions submitted by internal teams.
- Obtain vendor quotations as needed.
- Issue and manage purchase orders, including modifications and approvals.
- Reconcile complex invoices to facilitate vendor payments.
- Oversee supplier onboarding within the organization’s Coupa P2P tool.
- Maintain supplier information and procurement data.
- Generate reports related to supplier data and procurement activities.
- Build and foster strong relationships with internal business units to drive procurement efficiency.
- Assist with administrative and clerical procurement tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Operations, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Operations, Finance, or related functions.
- Proficiency in procurement and financial systems such as Coupa, Peoplesoft, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
- Experience engaging with senior executives in an advisory and leadership capacity.
- Understanding of negotiation strategies and vendor relationship management.
- General knowledge of commercial and financial contractual terms.
- Experience in the financial services or investment industry is a plus.
