Job Description:
The Senior Systems Engineer (Audio-Visual) will play a key role in shaping and supporting a modern digital workplace by designing, engineering, and implementing high-quality AV solutions. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, end users, and installation teams to translate functional requirements into scalable, technically sound, and innovative AV designs that enhance collaboration and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements
- Conduct detailed needs assessments and site evaluations across multiple locations
- Design end-to-end AV solutions, including system architecture, signal flow, and network integration
- Develop comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and standards
- Create and maintain AV system programming, including code modules, touch panel designs, and control layouts
- Support AV programming efforts using industry-standard tools and languages
- Perform system testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet design and performance standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during design, implementation, and post-deployment phases
- Present AV designs to clients and stakeholders, clearly explaining technical concepts and incorporating feedback
- Ensure all designs and implementations comply with established standards, best practices, and applicable regulations
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of demonstrated experience in AV system design, engineering, and programming
- Strong understanding of AV technologies, signal flow, and networked systems across enterprise or campus environments
- AV system design and engineering
- AV system programming and control development
- Proven ability to design scalable, reliable AV solutions for complex environments
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Hands-on programming experience, including:
- Lua
- Advanced CSS (including variables)
- Python
- HTML
