Quick Summary:
This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining Identity and Access Management solutions to ensure secure and seamless user experiences. The IAM Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance identity-related processes, integrate with various platforms, and lead automation initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units, developers, vendors, and security teams to deliver IAM solutions.
- Integrate IAM systems with third-party software and on-premises infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability and optimal user experience across identity platforms.
- Conduct impact analysis, data reviews, and provide work effort estimates for new features and fixes.
- Lead and participate in automation and process improvement projects.
- Maintain and upgrade IAM infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain documentation for architecture, implementation, and operations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
Qualifications / Must Haves:
- Proven experience designing, developing, and implementing CIAM solutions across multiple systems.
- Hands-on experience with CIAM IDP tools such as Okta, Ping, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools like PingOne DaVinci or Transmit Security FlexID.
- Strong understanding of identity protocols: OIDC, OAuth, SAML, AD-Fed, API Gateways, and SCIM.
- Expertise in technologies such as SSO, MFA, FIDO authentication, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Identity Governance & Administration.
- Ability to implement and manage identity proofing processes for secure authentication.
- Experience supporting infrastructure upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Transmit Security and advanced CIAM orchestration tools.
