IT Project Manager III (Insight Clinical Trial System)

Seeking a seasoned IT Project Manager with deep knowledge of clinical trial IT systems, specifically Insight, to lead enterprise-wide projects from initiation to completion. This role involves strategic planning, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and full lifecycle project execution using PMI methodologies.
This role can sit remotely in any of the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple complex IT projects across clinical and enterprise systems.
- Develop project plans, budgets, scopes, and timelines; analyze risks and create mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate cross-functional team collaboration and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
- Oversee vendor RFPs, contracts, and deliverables.
- Utilize project management tools to track progress, ensure milestones, and report metrics.
- Conduct quality assurance, risk assessments, and change control.
- Lead project meetings, training, and documentation reviews.
- Ensure successful project closure, capturing lessons learned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in IT or related field preferred; PMP or ITIL certification a plus.
- 6–8 years of project management experience, including large-scale clinical trial IT initiatives.
- Experience working with and implementing Insight.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proven experience manage multiple projects and priorities.
