Senior HRIS Lead – Dayforce
6 Month Contract-to-Hire
This role will take the lead on post-implementation stabilization and optimization, driving complex configuration, integration refinement, and ongoing enhancements across the Dayforce platform.
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the system is not only functioning as designed, but is fully optimized to support evolving business needs—particularly in areas like payroll accuracy, union-specific rules, and overall system performance. This position requires a strong blend of functional expertise and technical insight, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, well-designed solutions.
Candidates local to the Atlanta area are highly preferred, but would consider non-local/fully remote for the right person.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as a lead point of contact for Dayforce technical and functional initiatives
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable Dayforce solutions
- Lead configuration and customization across WFM, HCM, Payroll, and Benefits modules
- Design and optimize pay policies, pay groups, entitlements (PTO), and union-based premium pay structures
- Review and enhance integrations, interfaces, and data flows, identifying and resolving gaps
- Drive system optimization and post-implementation improvements, including cleanup and performance tuning
- Oversee testing strategy and execution, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and stability
- Partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, and IT to troubleshoot issues and guide best practices
- Document configurations and support knowledge transfer and end-user enablement
What You Bring
- 7+ years of Dayforce experience in a techno-functional or consulting capacity
- Deep expertise across Dayforce WFM, HCM, Payroll, and Benefits, including configuration and integrations
- Strong experience with:
- Complex pay policies, entitlements, and union pay structures
- Interfaces, integrations, and data validation
- Proven ability to lead troubleshooting, optimization, and system enhancements in a post-implementation environment
- Strong understanding of HR and payroll operations and compliance
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Dayforce certification preferred
