Our client in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Senior Software Developer for the a permanent role for their Web / Software Development team. This Senior Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that support critical business operation. Will work hybrid, commuting to Fort Worth to work onsite three days per week and will work remotely two days per week, Monday-Friday, normal business hours.
This role involves contributing across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design through implementation, testing, and ongoing enhancement. The ideal Senior Software Developer will bring strong experience building modern, data‑driven applications and collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, high‑quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support core business functions
- Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and designers to deliver new features and system enhancements
- Enhance and support business‑critical applications, services, and reporting solutions
- Partner with infrastructure and technical support teams to diagnose and resolve application issues
- Participate in requirements definition, technical documentation, and solution design in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Contribute to project planning activities including scope definition, timelines, and implementation strategies
- Apply coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines throughout development efforts
Basic Qualifications
- Highly preferred that qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- Must have 5+ years of hands‑on software development experience in enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of modern software development methodologies and best practices
- Experience working in regulated or compliance‑driven environments is a plus
- Knowledge of data privacy principles and secure application development
- Ability to research, evaluate, and apply new technologies and tools
- Strong SQL experience, including complex queries and performance optimization
Technical Skills
- Must have strong experience developing applications using C# and modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 8+) – This team currently uses .NET 10
- Must have strong T-SQL and JavaScript experience
- Experience building web applications using Razor Pages
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services
- Familiarity with ASP.NET, including MVC and Web Forms
- Experience working with SQL Server in production environments
