SAP IBP TS Optimizer Consultant

Our client, a large enterprise manufacturing organization undergoing a complex SAP supply chain transformation, is seeking an SAP IBP TS Optimizer expert Consultant to join their team.

The environment is not standard out-of-the-box IBP. The design includes customized configuration, complex constraint modeling, and a non-traditional planning architecture. The ideal candidate must be comfortable stepping into an evolving solution, learning a unique design quickly, and operating with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support configuration and optimization activities within SAP IBP TS Optimizer

• Troubleshoot complex and unexpected optimizer solve results related to both configuration and data integrity

• Analyze and resolve planning area, key figure, and master data issues impacting optimizer performance

• Support upcoming MVP deployment in March, ensuring stability and readiness for go-live

• Contribute to full-scale TS Optimizer rollout in November, including testing, tuning, and solution refinement

• Work cross-functionally with technical teams, functional stakeholders, and business end users

• Support and optimize IBP time series–based extractors and staging tables

• Operate independently while collaborating within a broader IBP program team

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP IBP TS Optimizer (implementation and/or sustainment)

• Proven experience deploying TS Optimizer in complex supply chain environments

• Strong troubleshooting capabilities related to optimizer configuration, constraints, and data issues

• Experience working with IBP time series–based extractors and staging tables

• Ability to diagnose and resolve unexpected solve results

• Comfortable working in customized, non-standard IBP environments

• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams

• Ability to contribute autonomously in a fast-paced deployment setting
