Position Overview
Our global manufacturing client is seeking a highly skilled, senior-level SAP IBP Consultant to join their team for a critical 3-month+ contract engagement. This role is immediately available and a top hiring priority, with a focus on optimizing the SAP IBP TS Optimizer module. As a consultant, you will be pivotal in analyzing and resolving issues related to planning performance, guiding junior team members, and contributing to enhancements in this high-impact implementation.

Key Responsibilities

SAP IBP TS Optimizer: Provide hands-on support with a strong focus on the TS Optimizer module.

Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve functional, data, and integration-related issues with minimal supervision.

Performance Optimization: Use your expertise to improve planning performance, optimize time-series analysis, and tackle complex planning challenges.

Mentorship: Lead and mentor junior consultants, guiding them through challenges and best practices.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with technical and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and execution.

Cutover Support: Provide critical support during the May 30th weekend cutover, including after-hours and weekend availability as needed.

Enhancements: Contribute to the enhancement of existing solution designs and quickly ramp up on current system configurations.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of two (2) full SAP IBP implementations involving the TS Optimizer module.

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution in an SAP IBP environment.

Supply Chain Knowledge: Deep understanding of supply chain planning, particularly constraints, cost-based optimization, and time-series forecasting.

Independence: Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading and guiding junior team members or consultants.
Preferred Qualifications

IBP and S/4HANA Integration: Experience with integration between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA, including master and transactional data.

Customization: Proficiency in customizing IBP planning views for various planning processes.

Data Analytics: Strong Excel and analytical skills to compare scenarios, analyze results, and effectively communicate insights.

Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python for data analytics and advanced modeling, particularly in time-series optimization.

Moderate Experience: We are also open to candidates with moderate experience in time-series optimization but possess strong data analytics skills.
