What youll do
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and contractors
- Partner with technical stakeholders to align on priorities, architecture, and delivery
- Support execution across multiple application teams and initiatives
- Help remove blockers, guide decision-making, and keep work moving forward
- Foster a strong team culture built on accountability, curiosity, and initiative
- Participate in interviewing, hiring, and team development efforts
What were looking for
- Prior people management experience in a software/technology environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate others
- Technical fluency to contribute to discussions around architecture, collaboration, and delivery
- Ability to assess tradeoffs, resolve conflicts, and make sound judgment calls
- Someone who takes initiative, follows through, and can be trusted to execute
Nice to have
- Experience with customer-facing technology products
- Background leading teams working on internal or proprietary applications
- Experience in a healthcare, insurance, or similarly regulated environment
