Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Engineer to take full ownership of our clients’ electronic hardware design from concept through production. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product management, global design teams, quality engineering, and manufacturing partners to deliver high‑quality, manufacturable hardware solutions.
This position is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is comfortable working with minimal supervision, and enjoys driving innovation in IoT, access control, security, and building automation technologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and own all electronic design work, ensuring high-quality output across the full product lifecycle.
- Partner with the Product team to define requirements, conduct feasibility studies, and estimate product costs.
- Create detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules for assigned design tasks and initiatives.
- Manage the full design process—from concept, simulation, prototyping, and validation to production handoff—ensuring designs are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification.
- Identify potential quality or technical risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
- Deliver measurable quality and reliability improvements through strong engineering discipline and continuous process enhancement.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, supply chain, and external ODM/OEM partners.
- Stay current on emerging technologies relevant to IoT, wireless systems, access control, and building automation.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience designing electronic circuits for IoT, access control, security, or building automation products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong hands-on experience with Altium or similar CAD tools for schematic capture, circuit simulation, and PCB layout.
- Ability to design for manufacturability (DFM) and ensure compliance with global regulatory and quality standards.
- Experience working with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
- Working knowledge of wireless technologies, including Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, IoT RF systems, and antenna design.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and with external partners.
