Senior Electrical Engineer – Dallas, TX or Phoenix, AR Location: Dallas, TX or Phoenix, AZ About the Role: Step into a senior-level engineering role where you will lead the full lifecycle of complex electrical design projects across high-impact environments, including healthcare, data centers, and government facilities. Acting as a key technical leader, you will bridge conceptual design and real-world implementation, guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance power, lighting, and infrastructure systems. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of designs, interpret critical codes and standards, and collaborate directly with stakeholders on mission-critical projects from initial concept through final commissioning.   • Plan, organize, and execute detailed electrical design work with the ability to manage engineering activities across multiple projects
  • Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems with minimal oversight
  • Conduct research on applicable industry standards and perform engineering studies and system analyses
  • Develop and review specifications, calculations, and project cost estimates
  • Provide technical leadership to design teams and monitor project progress, identifying scope changes as needed
  • Coordinate completion of design documentation and construction drawings
  • Direct engineers and CAD designers in preparing design deliverables
  • Interpret applicable codes and standards and work with regulatory officials when needed
  • Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure coordinated project delivery Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering and design experience
  • Experience designing systems within one or more of the following sectors: commercial, healthcare, laboratory, data center, or government facilities
  • Strong background in electrical system design including power distribution, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems
  • Experience reviewing and producing construction drawing packages
  • Familiarity with generator sizing and power system analysis tools
  • Working knowledge of applicable electrical and energy codes and standards
  • Experience supporting mission-critical or secure facility projects is a plus Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
