Senior Application Launch Manager, Blue Yonder

Job description

The Senior Application Launch Manager will lead end-to-end implementations of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions across a distributed network of warehouse sites. This role combines strong functional and technical expertise to align Blue Yonder system capabilities with operational needs in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing role requiring hands-on experience with Blue Yonder, strong project leadership, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations.


Responsibilities

  • Lead full lifecycle Blue Yonder WMS implementations, including design, configuration, testing, and go-live
  • Manage multiple site deployments, ensuring consistent execution and delivery standards
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners
  • Translate business requirements into Blue Yonder WMS configurations, as well as integrations with LMS and WCS systems
  • Drive project timelines, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication, status reporting, and executive updates
  • Support data validation, SQL-based analysis, and system testing activities
  • Provide post-go-live (hypercare) support and ensure smooth transition to operations
  • Partner closely with warehouse operations teams to validate workflows and optimize system usage
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement of implementation processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience implementing Blue Yonder WMS (required)
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end Blue Yonder deployments across multiple sites
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL for data validation, troubleshooting, and testing
  • Experience integrating Blue Yonder WMS with ERP systems (e.g., SAP); WCS integration is a plus
  • Background in distribution, warehousing, and logistics operations
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing implementation experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills

Travel
