Job Title: SAP S/4HANA SD Order Management Consultant
Location: Remote, or local to Atlanta with flexible hybrid schedule

Job Overview:
Our client is building a dedicated SAP Order Management team to support an upcoming S/4HANA deployment initiative. The team will focus on high-volume order processing, ensuring operational continuity, data accuracy, and strong post-go-live support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute high-volume order entry and order modifications in SAP S/4HANA (SD).

  • Support Go-Live and Hypercare activities, providing hands-on post-deployment assistance.

  • Interpret complex POs and manage unit-of-measure conversions.

  • Handle order exceptions and resolve real-time issues efficiently.

  • Collaborate with Business, IT, onshore/offshore teams, and consulting partners.

  • Utilize tools and processes to maintain accuracy and consistency in transaction-heavy environments.


Required Experience:

  • Strong, recent hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA SD, including order entry and modification.

  • Experience in high-volume, transaction-heavy environments, with meticulous attention to data accuracy.

  • Prior SAP Go-Live / Hypercare experience, able to contribute best practices from previous deployments.

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills for complex customer and logistics scenarios.


Must-Have Skills:

  1. SAP S/4HANA SD Expertise – Proficient in Order Management, including order entry and modifications.

  2. Core Skills – Experience with EDI, consignment, VMI, scheduling agreements, and contract pricing, critical for the wood products go-live.

  3. High-Volume Processing – Comfortable in transaction-heavy environments requiring accuracy and meticulous data management.

  4. Go-Live / Hypercare Experience – Hands-on deployment experience, able to hit the ground running and share best practices.

  5. Attention to Detail – Skilled at interpreting complex POs, managing unit-of-measure conversions, and navigating complex customer/logistics scenarios.

  6. Adaptable Problem-Solver – Capable of managing order exceptions and resolving issues in real time.
