Senior QA Engineer (On‑Site)

Role Overview

A growing technology organization is seeking a Senior QA Engineer who can take full ownership of software quality—across databases, APIs, web services, and user interfaces. This is a highly technical, hands-on position that works directly with engineering teams to validate cloud-based systems, build automation frameworks, and ensure the reliability and scalability of modern enterprise applications.

This is an on-site role that requires collaboration, engagement, and close partnership with developers, architects, and DevOps teams. Candidates should be passionate about breaking systems, automating testing at every layer, and ensuring software ships with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Automation

• Develop and maintain automated test suites spanning unit, integration, regression, and end‑to‑end scenarios.
• Validate SQL databases with a focus on data integrity, performance, and edge-case analysis.
• Test APIs, web services, and platform components across multiple environments.

Cloud & Infrastructure Quality

• Evaluate deployments, configurations, and integrations within Azure-based systems.
• Work directly within CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and repeatable builds and releases.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and proactively design automated solutions to close them.

Engineering Collaboration

• Participate in architecture reviews and technical discussions to identify risks early.
• Troubleshoot production issues alongside engineering teams and provide clear root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across testing processes, quality standards, and automated tooling.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional quality assurance experience.
• Strong background working with Azure services (App Services, SQL, pipelines, and environments).
• Advanced SQL capabilities, including data validation, complex query design, and performance analysis.
• Hands-on experience with modern QA automation frameworks and tools such as:
  • Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or equivalent
  • API testing platforms (Postman, REST‑assured, etc.)
• Experience working with Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and release management practices.
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Peachtree Corners, GA.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with performance and load testing.
• Familiarity with distributed or enterprise-scale systems.
• Background in ERP platforms, logistics workflows, or data-heavy enterprise applications.
• Ability to write scripts or lightweight testing tools using C#, Python, or similar languages.
