What You’ll Do
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
- Develop and maintain server-side logic and core databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve PHP application issues.
- Refactor, optimize, and scale existing applications.
- Integrate front-end elements with back-end logic.
- Participate in full SDLC activities including code reviews and launches.
- Document features, architecture, and technical decisions.
- Collaborate closely with front-end developers and full-stack engineers.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in PHP.
- At least 1 year of experience with Laravel.
- Solid experience with MySQL and working in a Linux environment.
- Familiarity with version control (Git).
- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Stand-Out Skills
- Ability to solve complex performance and architectural challenges.
- Experience refactoring and optimizing legacy codebases.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving mindset.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Agile principles.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools.
- Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
