Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Organizational Change Consultant to lead and support large-scale transformation initiatives across our client’s organization. This role will partner with business leaders, project teams, and stakeholders to drive adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational changes while minimizing disruption and maximizing business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a strategic change practitioner who excels in navigating ambiguity, building trusted relationships, influencing stakeholders at all levels, and developing comprehensive change strategies that enable successful transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and orchestrate an integrated organizational change management approach, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, sponsorship, and adoption planning.
- Assess the people, process, organizational, and cultural impacts of change initiatives and develop strategies to support successful transitions.
- Partner with project teams and business leaders to identify the scope and impact of change from the end-user perspective.
- Design and execute actionable change management plans using industry best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Coach and influence sponsors, frontline leaders, and project teams to effectively lead change, address resistance, and drive engagement.
- Identify change-related risks and develop mitigation strategies to support project success.
- Collaborate closely with communications, training, human resources, organizational development, project management, and business teams to align change efforts.
- Provide guidance and oversight to training and communication resources to ensure alignment with overall change strategy.
- Establish metrics and measurement frameworks to evaluate change adoption, utilization, and achievement of business outcomes.
- Support deployment planning and ensure sustained ownership throughout the adoption lifecycle.
- Recommend organizational change resources, timing, and team structures required to achieve desired outcomes.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in organizational change management, communications, training, project management, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience leading significant change management initiatives within complex organizations.
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Ability to advocate for the needs of individuals and teams impacted by change.
- Experience integrating change management activities with project plans, communication strategies, and training programs.
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
- Demonstrated success leading through ambiguity and adapting to evolving priorities.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Strong active listening, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and accountability.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Change Management certification or credential.
- Experience supporting Agile transformations or Agile change management initiatives.
- Professional change management certification (Prosci, ACMP, or similar).
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide business transformation efforts.
