Job Description:

Our client is hiring on their small, dynamic team focused on securing external customer access and experiences. We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to help shape and grow our Client IAM program. You’ll work closely with business units, developers, vendors, and security engineers to architect, support, and enhance all identity-related systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, vendors, and security engineers.

  • Integrate CIAM solutions with third-party software and on-prem infrastructure.

  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and a seamless user experience.

  • Perform impact analysis, data analysis, and estimate work efforts for new features and enhancements.

  • Lead and contribute to automation and process improvement efforts.

  • Maintain and optimize CIAM infrastructure and tools.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Experience designing, developing, and implementing Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with CIAM IDP tools such as Okta, Ping, or equivalent.

  • Familiarity with orchestration platforms like PingOne DaVinci or Transmit Security FlexID.

  • Experience with identity proofing, authentication, and verification workflows.

  • Knowledge of key identity technologies:

    • SSO, MFA, FIDO, PAM, and Identity Governance & Administration

    • OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth, SAML, AD Federation, API Gateways, SCIM

  • Ability to document architecture, processes, and procedures clearly and thoroughly.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Experience with Okta and Transmit Security is a plus.

  • Proven ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship.
