Job Description:
We’re seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to join our team as a contractor for a new annuity reinsurance software initiative. This is a high-impact role focused on building a system to manage reinsurance transactions—including premiums, reimbursements, and treaty details—from the ground up.
This project is in its early stages, and requirements are expected to evolve significantly. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative, iterative development environment and be comfortable with ambiguity and the potential for rework.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable full-stack solutions for annuity reinsurance operations.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define and refine requirements.
- Build and maintain front-end interfaces and back-end services using modern frameworks.
- Ensure data integrity and performance across SQL-based databases.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of professional experience as a full-stack developer.
- Frontend: React and/or Angular.
- Backend: Java, Spring Boot.
- Database: SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Industry experience in insurance or reinsurance is not required.
Interview Process
- 2–3 individual interviews (30 minutes each)
