Job Overview
The Forecaster I plays a critical role in supporting the Field Network by developing accurate, data-driven workforce forecasts. This team manages the workstreams and resources that determine how appointments are offered, integrating multiple data sources to build and maintain statistical forecast models. You’ll lead forecasting conversations for assigned markets and product areas, partnering closely with Field Management to drive consensus and ensure operational plans are aligned and achievable.
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain statistical forecast models within forecasting tools.

Gather, analyze, and validate large datasets to support forecasting accuracy.

Execute statistical modeling and apply error-analysis techniques to refine projections.

Review forecast outputs, summarize results, and aggregate operational forecasts.

Recommend adjustments to improve accuracy and reliability of demand forecasts.

Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with Field Management to achieve demand consensus.

Prepare materials to support analysis, research, and discussion with business partners.

Provide input to volume and annual planning processes.

Lead or support demand planning/customer meetings.

Maintain forecasting systems and tools, ensuring accuracy of all data inputs.

Monitor forecasting trends and error rates; prepare reporting to highlight insights.

Support continuous improvement of forecasting methodology and tools.

Must-Have Qualifications

Ability to create statistical forecasts using forecasting tools.

Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Ability to work in a consultative manner—build rapport, gather requirements, present solutions, and follow up effectively.

Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Willingness to work in a team operating 365 days/year, which may include weekends, evenings, and occasional 40+ hour weeks.
