Business Analyst – POS/API
Location: Lindon, UT
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
12 month contract
Pay: $29.40
We’re seeking a Business Analyst to support a restaurant POS platform that powers end-to-end operations across hardware and software. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and UX to turn business needs into clear requirements and help drive delivery in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate epics and features into clear, actionable user stories
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog (stories, bugs, tech debt)
- Lead backlog refinement and support sprint execution
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and UX to align requirements
- Support UAT and validate delivered features
- Help coordinate releases, including feature tracking and documentation
- Proactively identify and remove blockers
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong skills in JIRA, Confluence, and Slack
- Understanding of APIs and system integrations
- Ability to work closely with developers and translate technical concepts
- Self-starter who can work independently
Preferred:
- Experience with POS, payments, or restaurant technology
- Exposure to both hardware and software products
- Familiarity with tools like Figma
- Experience with platforms like Toast or Clover
