Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to support the modernization of contract and licensing systems, including workflow automation and integration with third-party services such as FINRA. This role will collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, engineering teams, and design partners to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and document current business processes.
- Conduct current state, future state, and gap analyses using process mapping techniques.
- Gather and validate complex product requirements from business partners.
- Author user stories and features with low to medium complexity; support higher complexity tasks as needed.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily scrums, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
- Assist in developing and executing test plans and scenarios.
- Apply project management principles to drive work forward and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience as a technical business analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to influence outcomes and navigate conflict with professionalism.
- Experience in financial services, workflow automation tools, or complex business domains is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Certifications in business analysis, product ownership, or Scrum are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to assess straightforward situations and propose effective solutions.
