Assistant VP of Product Management
Perm/Full-Time Position
Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid)
We are in search of an AVP of Product Management to lead a high-performing product team responsible for shaping and executing the company’s product strategy. This role encompasses the end-to-end management of both customer-facing digital experiences (e.g., portals, mobile applications) and internal business tools (e.g., CRM systems, third-party platforms). The AVP will be instrumental in identifying user needs, market opportunities, and areas for digital transformation to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
This leadership position requires a deep understanding of product lifecycle management, a strong grasp of emerging technologies, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with stakeholders in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, customer empathy, and a proven ability to lead through influence and results.
Responsibilities Include:
Product Strategy:
- Develop and articulate a 24- to 36-month vision for all company products and digital experiences.
- Align product strategies with overall business objectives, leveraging insights from market trends and technological innovations.
- Guide the team in gathering and synthesizing data from user feedback, analytics, competitive research, and user testing.
- Identify and define digital solutions that address core business challenges and customer pain points.
- Champion a data-informed approach to product development, ensuring investment decisions deliver measurable ROI.
- Collaborate with business leaders to drive process optimization and technology enablement across the enterprise.
- Manage vendor relationships and lead contract negotiations to ensure value-driven partnerships.
Product Execution:
- Lead the planning and delivery of multiple product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor key product performance metrics and ensure continuous improvement.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and milestones are met while managing risks and dependencies.
- Partner with Technology leadership to align development efforts and synchronize product releases.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Build and maintain a high-performing team with strong product and domain expertise.
- Coach and develop team members through regular feedback, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
- Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture with a focus on agile best practices and continuous improvement.
- Lead hiring efforts, succession planning, and employee engagement strategies.
Qualifications Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in product management, including 10+ years of full lifecycle product ownership.
- 10+ years of people leadership experience.

- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into impactful digital solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust and alignment across departments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Deep understanding of user experience design, digital trends, and technology ecosystems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
