About the Role

We’re looking for an Analytics Engineer to support our client’s Business Intelligence team by building reliable data pipelines, modeling high-quality datasets, and ensuring stakeholders have timely, accurate, and trusted information. In this role, you’ll collaborate with senior engineers and analysts while gaining hands-on experience across cloud data platforms, orchestration tools, and modern analytics engineering workflows.


What You’ll Do

Data Pipelines & Transformations

  • Develop, test, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as dbt, Snowflake, Airflow, Dagster, and Azure Data Factory under senior guidance.
  • Write efficient SQL and Python code to clean, transform, and load data from multiple systems.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining reliable data models, including fact and dimension tables, for reporting and analysis.

Analytics Enablement

  • Support BI/reporting platforms (e.g., Sigma) by ensuring data sets are well-modeled, consistent, and up to date.
  • Collaborate with BI and business partners to translate requirements into usable datasets, dashboards, and metrics.
  • Contribute to code reviews, testing, and Git-based version control to maintain data quality and reliability.

Monitoring, Quality & Documentation

  • Help monitor data pipelines, troubleshooting issues related to performance, data quality, and reliability.
  • Document data models, transformations, and workflows for transparency and long-term maintainability.
  • Work with APIs and integrate them into pipelines as needed for new data sources.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong SQL skills with experience writing queries for analytics and transformations.
  • Basic proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
  • Hands-on experience with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake preferred).
  • Familiarity with dbt or other transformation frameworks.
  • Exposure to orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster, or ETL/ELT platforms such as ADF or Fivetran.
  • Understanding of core data concepts: relational databases, schemas, joins, and data modeling.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving skills, and eagerness to learn modern data technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with BI tools such as Sigma, Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and data quality concepts.
  • Exposure to cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
